Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

🔒 Our core promise: ImgPDFTools processes all your files directly inside your browser. Your images, PDFs and documents never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server.

1. Scope & consent

This Privacy Policy explains how ImgPDFTools (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you visit imgpdftools.xyz and use our free, browser-based image and PDF tools (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Files you process — not collected

Images, PDFs and documents you open in our tools are read into your browser's memory and processed 100% locally. They are never transmitted to us and are discarded when you close or reload the tab.

2.2 Information collected automatically

This is gathered via Google Analytics only after you consent, and your IP address is anonymized.

2.3 Information you provide

If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email and message you submit so we can reply. We do not use these details for marketing.

2.4 Cookies & local storage

We store small preferences (such as your theme and consent choice) and optional tool history on your device. See section 5 for details.

3. How we use information

5. Cookies & tracking technologies

We group cookies and similar technologies into the categories below. You can change your choices anytime using the control.

We use localStorage to save optional tool history (e.g. recent colors or conversions) on your device only; it is automatically cleared after roughly 30 days of inactivity.

6. Third-party services

7. Data retention

Processed files are never retained — they live only in your browser's memory during use. Analytics data is retained per Google's defaults. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

8. International data transfers

Our analytics and ad partners may process limited, anonymized data on servers outside your country. These providers rely on recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your privacy rights

GDPR (EEA/UK): you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.

CCPA/CPRA (California): you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your data. You can limit ad personalization via the cookie preferences on this site.

To exercise any right, contact us using section 14. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.

10. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Because no common standard exists, we treat a browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to keep analytics and advertising cookies disabled until you choose otherwise.

11. Data security

The Service is served over HTTPS. Because your files are processed entirely on your device, the most sensitive data never travels over the network at all — the strongest possible protection.

12. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
